Turkin, Anatoli Nikitavich

Anatoli Nikitavich Turkin was born in Astrakhan in 1938. He graduated from the Krasnodar Art School in 1965. He became a member of the Artists’ Union of Russia in 1974. He has been an active participant in regional, zonal, republican and All-Union art exhibitions.

He became the Kustodiev regional prize laureate in 2000. His works can be found in the B.M. Kustodiev Astrakhan Art Gallery, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.

Turkin lives and works in Astrakhan.
