Nikolai Troshchenkov was born in 1961 in Kaluzhskoy. In 1976 he completed art school in the town of Bendery, Moldavia. In 1985 he completed studies in the Theatrical School of Art in Odessa. From 1985 to 1991 he worked in opera houses in Voronezh. He has been an independent artist since 1991. He exhibits his works often in Voronezh and has had many personal shows. Two of his paintings hang in the Kramskoi Museum of Voronezh. One painting is in the National Institute of Culture of the Panama INAC.
