Natalia (Natasha) Vasilevna Suvorova was born March 25, 1941. She graduated from the Mukhina School in St. Petersburg and began participating in exhibitions in 1966. She joined the Aritsts’ Union of Russia in 1973.
She has exhibited her works in the former USSR at the headquarters of the Artists’ Union, at the Surikov Art Institute, in Volgograd, and at the Pushkin Art Museum. She has also exhibited internationally in Paris and London. Her works can be found in collections in Istanbul, Turkey, and in several cities in the United States.
Her work is characterized by vibrant colors and excellent composition with everything simple but elegant. Her style is easily recognizable with everything full of light and air and careful attention to details. It has been said, “Her art is like a bright page in the contemporary art of St. Petersburg.”
