Anatoli Vasilievich Popov was born in 1946 in the village Ustie in the Michurinsk district of the Tambov region of Russia. He graduated from the Kurski Saratov Institute of Law, and currently works as a lawyer. However, he also loves art, and as a talented painter he participates in municipal (Michurinsk) and regional (Tambov) art exhibitions. He lives and works in the city of Michurinsk.
