Mylnikova, Vera Andreevna

Vera Mylnikova was born in 1950 as the daughter of academician Andrei Mylnikov. She studied at the Repin Institute of Art in the studio of Monumental Painting and graduated in 1975. She completed a post-graduate degree in the studio of her father in 1979.

Since 1974 she has participated in All Republic Exhibitions in the USSR. She became a member of the Artists’ Union of Russia in 1979. She takes part in All-Union and republican exhibitions. She is head of a creative studio at the Repin Academy.

She is a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts, an extremely prestigious position in the Russian art world.
