Melekhin, Georgi Andreevich

Georgi Andreevich Melekhin was born on August 20, 1933, in Sverdlovsk (now Ekaterinburg). He received artistic training at the Sverdlovsk Art School.

His creative life was connected with the town of Lipetsk. He ehibited his works in regional and provincial shows. He lived and worked in Lipetsk.

He was a member of the Artists’ Union of Russia.

He died tragically in 2000, when he drowned in a river.
