Mikhail Fedorovich Mamei was born in 1937 in the city of Syktyvkar into a family of workers. He studied in the Kursk Art-Graphical School from 1957-1961. He is best known as a graphic artist. He took part in many exhibitions, including regional exhibitions in 1967, 1969, 1974. Mamei lives and works in Voronezh.
