Evgeny V. Malykh was born on Februay 23, 1956 in the Sverdlovsk region of Russia. In 1975 he finished art school at I. D. Shadr in Ekaterinbug. He studied at the Repin Art Institute in Leningrad from 1981 to 1987. His diploma work entitled “Struggle for Peace” was given an award by the Council of Academy.
He was the managing faculty of drawing at the State Pedagogical Institute in Kishinev, Moldova from 1987 to 1991.
From 1992 till the present he has worked as a teacher of painting and drawing at the Repin Art Institute.
