Ivan Vasilevich Kolsenikov was born on October 2, 1923 in the Belgorod Region. He fought in the Great Patriotic War.
He studied in the Art Studio of the Palace of Culture at Donbass. He was a participant of many different shows in the USSR and was a member of the Artists’ Union.
Throughout his life he lived and worked in Lipetsk. He died in 1999.
