Kichko, Sergei Dmitrievich

Sergei Dmitrievich Kichko was born in Dneprodzerzhinsk, Ukraine in 1946. He studied at the Repin Academy of Art from 1967 to 1973. He was a graduate student at the Repin from 1974 to 1976 and upon graduation, immediately became a professor there. He now heads a painting studio at the Repin.

He began exhibiting in 1975 and has been a member of the Artists’ Union since 1977.

Kichko has works in the Russian Museum, the Museum of St. Petersburg, and the Museum of the Academy of Art. He has exhibited in Japan, Finland, and the United States (San Francisco).

He lives and works in St. Petersburg.
