Alexander Petrovich Khoduk was born on October 28, 1968 in the Kurgan Region of Siberia. In 1985 he graduated from the Kurgan Professional Technical School with a degree as an artist-painter-decorator. That same year he started school at the Sverdlovsk Art School and graduated in 1991 with a degree as an artist-designer.
In 1992 he began study in the graphics department of the I. E. Repin Academy of Art, Sculpture, and Architecture in St. Petersburg, where he studied in the studio of Professor V. A. Vetrogonsky. He graduated in 1998 and passed his final diploma on the theme “The Views of Russian Land” to receive his degree as a graphic artist.
He consistantly took part in different exhibitions while he was studying at the Repin Academy as well as after his graduation. He participated in 1998 and 2000 in exhibitions of Russia in Moscow and all shows in Voronezh. He was accepted into the Artists’ Union in 2001. He has taken part in Russian and foreign exhibitions in such cities as St. Petersburg, Voronezh, and Berlin. His paintings can be found in private collections in Russia, Germany, Austria, Belgium, South Korea and the United States.
As well as being an accomplished painter, he uses his graphic design skills to design books in Voronezh.
His works have been published in various books and journals, including:
