Vladimir Dmitrievich Fefelov was born in 1939 in Vorashilovgrad (Lugansk, Ukraine). He completed five years of college studies in painting and pedagogy at the Lugansk School of Art in 1961 and has a member of the Artists’ Union of Russia since 1985. He has taken part in zonal and republican exhibitions.
Fefelov works extensively as a still-life painter. His work is represented in the London Picture Gallery and in private collections in Russia, England, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden and the United States.
His works have been published in various books and journals, including:
