Vyacheslav Andreevich Fedorov was born in Ivanovo-Voznesensk province in 1918. He studied at the Ivanovo Art College from 1934 to 1939, and at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture/Repin Institute from 1943 to 1950. He began exhibiting his works no later than 1951. Important shows include:

- Soviet Russia, Moscow, 1960.
Active in Ivanovo, he specialized in landscapes. He died in Zhelnikha, Kalinin region in the 1980s.
His works have been published in various books and journals, including:
