German Pavlovich Egoshin was born in Leningrad in 1931. He studied at the Leningrad Art College from 1949 to 1950, at the Leningrad Intermediate Art School from 1950 to 1953, and at the Repin Institute from 1953 to 1959.
He began exhibiting his works in 1960, and specializes in landscapes and still-lifes. He lives and works in St. Petersburg.
His works have been published in various books and journals, including:
