Dmitri Vasilevich Belyaev was born in Bortnoe, Ryazan Region, in 1921. He studied at the 1905 Art College from 1937 to 1941 and at the Repin Institute from 1946 to 1952. Active in Leningrad, he began exhibiting his works in 1952.
Important shows include:
