Vakhtang Georgievich Akhvlediani was born in Tiflis, Georgia (USSR), in 1924. He graduated from the Tbilisi Academy of Arts in 1951. He lived and worked in Voroshilovgrad/Lugansk, Ukraine, until his death in the 1980s.
